Fukushima Update

This 4+ minute video contains a report entitled, “Tokyo Soil Samples Would Be Considered Nuclear Waste In The US.”  The video begins with a recent presentation about nuclear plants in the US (a discussion which has been going on in other parts of the world as well).  It is also a brief update on the radiation levels in Tokyo — 200 miles from Fukushima — following the Fukushima nuclear accident in March 2011.

This March 24, 2012, report is from Arnie Gundersen, who has almost 40 years’ experience in the nuclear engineering field.  He has been regularly reporting on the Fukushima situation since the accident a year ago.  He has been offering information to the public that has been either suppressed or ignored by mainstream news.  All along, professional insiders like Gundersen have been saying that the Fukushima nuclear accident was greatly under-estimated.  Gundersen and others have been predicting long-term health effects — not just for the inhabitants of Japan — but globally.  (A script of the video is below, if you’d prefer to read his report rather than see the video.)
